I got a GTPumps GTPS01 (TD05H-16G) on my car... made 280hp atw on my old V2 STI motor at somewhere between 18 and 20 psi with supporting mods. Great turbos - cheap to buy, spool quickly, pull hard all the way to the redline (on a 2L) plus they are rebuildable (something I've had to experience first hand!). Still got it on my 2.5L for now.... torquey as hell but drops off a little bit up top, power delivery is so bloody linear you wonder if you have got a turbo sometimes, makes for a fantastic daily driver.

I definitely wouldn't discount going with a TD05 based turbo. I may be looking at selling mine sometime soon when I decide what to replace it with... It has had a full rebuild by TurboTech just over 2 months ago so it's essentially good as new!

Sorry for confusing question, but does TD05 stock from a 94/95 wrx = TD05-16G? which is similar to a VF34? which is better than a GTPS01? which IS a TD05H-16G (according to xeon)?

Hard to find a straight answer to this thread with all these conflicting views.

According to GTPumps, the GTPS01 is basically the same spool up to a VF34 but with better top end power

And the GTPS01 is the same size if im not mistaken as the early WRX turbos, so should be very similar, PROTOROB runs one with a few other mods to get an 11, so quite a decent turbo
