Default Whirring noise?

Hey guys/girls,

Just need a bit of feedback if possible.

I have a faint whirring type noise coming from the car under normal acceleration and whilst 'coasting' . After about 10-15mins of driving it seems to disappear. Speaking to someone from work and they said it could be my diff. Any other ideas??

Never experienced anything like it. I have a my99.

Thanks,
Jason

Yeah I'm gonna get it flushed, the boys say I should also get my rack cleaned as well.

Any ladies reading.. more than happy to inspect any suspect racks you might have.

Noise is still there. It happens whether the car is hot or cold. Whether the clutch is pressed or just coasting. I've taken it to FATS motorsport and he couldn't work it out. Perhaps I just wait until it's next scheduled service at Subaru. It's very faint and hasn't affected anything that I've noticed. It's just one of those things that you pick up whilst driving and it really annoys until it gets fixed. Hmm.. sounds familiar

No vibrations that are distinct. Only the noise.
