If you don't wanna sell you car and get a "newer model" or STi, then I would do what Tino (trainwrex) suggested.

If it was me right now... I would buy.. dump pipe, rims, Verso, coilovers, get stereo installed (I already have the stuff) and probably some extra bits and peices..

You all ready have the ej207 bottom end which means can handle more than enough your ahead , so Grab the needed things , injectors , fmic , k&n filter lol , then grab the "Most wanted things" BIG TURBO , MoTeC & Tune , then Coilovers and your set to a high powered wrx thats dumped lol probably with some left overs.

It will blow you away though thats the only problem ere .

02sti+ inlet manifold & intercooler (tmic if you like response, fmic if your all about jacking off over yourself) & decap the standard injectors

VF34/39 or if you can scam one, VF43 off an 06 STI. also consider one of those TD05/20Gs

Some form of engine management, be it Ecutek, PowerFC, Link or preferably Autronic or MoTeC (shouldn't be that expensive as a PNP is avilable and you dont have AVCS or DBW)

Depending on how you drive, DBA650 slotteds and some Ferrodo DS2500 pads, or if you think you might actually hit a track, DBA5000's and DS3000s

02+ STI struts & springs
Swaybars

shitloads of boost
ver3/6 STI cams


reckon that'd bring you close to 10k

Don't go all out on power and forget to upgrade your brakes

in that case ... GET POWER FC!!!!! definitely and get sean to tune it.

Power FC, Exhaust, 02 STI top mount turbo, manifold and a GTPS01 or S02 turbo, fuel pump and parallel fuel mod with Sard FPR while you at it. Might get away with $10,000 for that if u do it all at once.

Yeah just had Sean tune my MY00 with a PowerFC/z32AFM and must say, very pleased with the end result. Feels stronger whilst launching, accelerating, top end (compared to before) and thats just a stock TD04 @ 17psi. $920 for a PowerFC, $300 for 300zx AFM and $800 for a tune/installation of AFM, you cant really go wrong imo.

Plus the fuel pump,FMIC,650cc injectors all up came to about $4500 i think to buy the gear, and get it installed/tuned in.
