K&N Pod Filter
Hi, I am looking for a K&N pod filter and since this whole stuff is new to me, how much would one of these cost me and what do i need to do other than buy the filter (eg, pipes? etc)...
I saw a few on ebay and they were going for round $60 - $80 minus the postage and handling. is this cheap? and what size should i be looking for for my GC8. thankx guys |

Search, search, search.
You would need a CAI as well as the pod filter. Only CAI I am aware of for GC8's is those by APS - www.airpowersystems.com.au. However, there are more. APS ones come with a pod filter. Up to you if you want to keep it. Why K&N? Run a search as there was a thread that compared all the pod filters - Apexi Power Intake topped the list for filtration and flow.

DONT put a oiled K&N pod on a My99/00 WRX. It WILL kill your AFM. Do a search.

I've got a APS K&N filter sitting here plus a recharge kit for it that you could grab.
But as others have said, DON'T put a K&N oiled filter on your 99/00 WRX/STI period. It will fuck the AFM. APEXI dry pod filter only. Or keep you standard airbox/filter, resonatorectomy, CAI pipe from front bumper into the airbox and do a silicon intake pipe to turbo. Good for 220ish KW ATW.
