WW is not SOR...

A good wheel alignment can really add to your driving pleasure. Have a look next time on the street at other WRX wheel alignments. If the wheels are straight up and down as they come from the factory, lacking any real camber, the Owner is not getting the most "fun" out of his car. Totally lacks any street cred in my books, this type of owner (not Driver) usually has the mirrors adjusted back in at them self and has a loud BOV

What about tyre wear I hear the noobs ask, well read on...If you like an occasional spirited blat (safe speeds of course) you will find your tyres last longer with about -1.5 to -2deg Camber on the front. Better initial bite on turn in as well.

Does anyone have any front and rear camber and toe settings they would like to share.. so i have a rough idea of what i should ask for/expect from the wheel alignment, and how the car performed after... I'd say my car already has some camber/toe etc in it as it turns in quite well..

and also if you have hsd coilovers what damper rate do you have these set too??

For a nice street setup try:
Camber -1.5 front , -1.0 rear, Toe neutral front and rear, max Castor. Try and avoid toe out on the rear. It has a destabilising effect that is plain funny to watch on the track and sickening to see on the street.

For more camber add adjustable strut tops or after market Camber Bolt.

I'm running -2°02' on the fronts and -1°12' on the rears.

I had my alignment done by Wilko's after WW told me they were too busy to fit me in. For the price, service and ease to drop my car off/pick it up during work hours, I will continue to go there. They did exactly what I asked them to do for $$ less than WW. But each to their own.

Morgan, I have camber + a loud BOV, what does that make me ?

umm, passenger side is set into my blind spot, middle one on the windscreen out the back window, and the drivers one is set to look down the right side of the car, with a stick on "blind spot" mirror that points at me, so i can check myself out

(that second bit might be a lie)

If you've got the settings, go and see Lyndon and Yangebup Tyre and Brake.
Great bloke who is only too happy to help. Does a great job.

Yep has adjustable strut tops.. was thinking something like -2 on front and -1.2 on rear with a bit of toe in on the front to help turn in and get some castor wacked into it too.
