Yep good call! Get yourself a new ppump and plugs installed. Walbro GSS-342 i think for you. Not to sure. They are about $200 or less. Then get onto ebay or other forums and wait for a unichip and get it tuned.

Mine with a Pod filter, TBE and BoV never hit boost cut, ever. Heres the lesson that needs to be described. MBC, while still sold by shops, are shit and while it may not happen (MBC failure) to MR X over there it could happen to you.

Piggyback ecu. You will need a Type A. Ring Tim Slakko at West Racing and talk to him about it and YOUR car. Best to talk to the main guys workin on em everyday than forums mate. Sounds like your car has a real problem to be doin that so my suggestion is get it checked out either by subaru or a reputable mechanic before it pops. To own a high performance car comes lots of trouble shooting and it will cost you money.

With the use of an MBC, would the ECU of the my99 work in open loop at all times? Or is the open loop and close loop unaffected with the addition of the MBC?
