had a good search but could not find info, how do i get to the rear top suspension mounts in a gc8?, we have succesfully put the front ones in. i don;t want to break anything i can see them just below the seatbelt anchor but can;t for the life of me work out how to get them out.
any help would be greatly appreciated

you undo them slow and fucking annoying, either get a right angle drive ratchet or use a spanner 1/3 of a turn at a time. its easier if you undo the bolt holding in the seatbelts

yeah we realised about 5 mins in we'd need the proper tools so we hit bunnings, saved us lots of fuckin around. but getting to the rear towers is proving piss easy in my bro's wagon (where the coilies came from) but much more difficult than planned in my sedan. i hate ripping stuff out even for basic stereo gear so don't much relish putting the rears in, but it only has to be done once.
btw has anyone come across a diy guide on the net??

have you tried just doing it ? :P the rear seat is easy to remove, 5 bolts i think, you need to drop the fold down section to get to some of the bolts from memory. undoing the bold that holds the seatbelt to the pillar and then undo the 3x 14?mm nuts holding the strut in. have someone catch it
