I think your mate might be onto something with the coilovers.
You need to turn those things into AIR SHOCKS.

Step 1 : Drill a hole in your coilovers and let all the oil out.

Step 2 :Now go find some corners, (preferably with mid corner bumps),
and go round them as fast as you can.

I promise that this will make your car feel so fast that you'll never want
anymore power!!
