I've been using motul in different applications for about 4 years now and am very happy with it.
In your engine Tino, I'd be inclined to use a 15/50.

^^^^

Ive only got 2.5 thou clearances on the pistons- probaly closer to 3 thou if the coating on the pistons have worn off... So not overly large imo...

Tino, it's the larger bigend & main bearing clearances that really matter in oil weights. Piston to bore clearances don't effect oil weight as the bores are splash lubricated.

I have the stock 2.0T engine in my MY00, currently with 67,000 roughly on the clock. Opinions of which the the best oil to use? Subaru suggest Mobil 1 Super Semi-Synthetic 10-40w, plus genuine Subaru oil filter (naturally). Opinions/Help?

Now reduced to 18K for 2009. May use 8 engines as you choose for all friday, saturday and sunday sessions. Grid penalty only applies if you use a ninth engine during the season and for each new engine after that.

Yeah I saw this the other day.
The teams are also trying to get some more testing miles during the season due to the KERS developement cycle.
Looks like green stripes on the sidewalls both inner and outer for the option tyre as well, although Bridgestone have yet to confirm.
Honda may survive as a management buyout with Merc engines.

sorry for off topic...
