My08 suspension
Hi just chasing some advice , want to reduce body roll and tighten up the cornering on my betty ,should i be looking at either springs or swaybars or a
combinations of both. cheers |

I suggest you go see John at Wheels World in Osborne Park. I would do both springs and larger sways if it were my car.

Sways.
Springs of a higher spring rate with stiffen the ride up and 'stop' body roll, but when you go too low (i.e. whiteline flatouts) you change the geometry of the suspension and create more body roll... ala the need of a roll centre kit.

i went to wheels world mate and for my betty i got whiteline springs (40mm low) and centre roll kit, made a huge difference, handles so much better, just watch high kerbs

lots of rally/race workshops have corner weight scales, essentialy 4 scales connected to a central console. You can see the total weight of the car plus how much each "corner" weighs, allowing you to move things in your car to get and ideal left:right and front:back weight ratio
