Just reading up now. Only available in the following 16" Sizes.

205/45R16
205/50R16
205/55R16

215/55R16

225/50R16
225/55R16

Currently my car is 205/50R16 - Given that I drive with a lead foot - love wet weather, and love Skidpan/Track Days - do you think this is the right size to stick with?

I'm a big fan of the RE001s, so I can't wait to see how the RE002s compare in price and performance...

Starting at $270 Per Corner.

Just spoke to dad, wont let me get them. Too expensive (Kinda have to listen as he still owns 15grand worth of my car).

Looking backwards to the RE50, or if we can get them in Aus, the 960 Pole Position

Not bad really. My first set of RE001s were about 260. The last set I got were only $179 per corner!
Maybe just go with the 001s?
Either way, tell him better tyres are safer and will keep your car in one piece! Lol.

I currently run Dunlop Direzza DZ101's for road tyres.
Great tyre. Good grip in all conditions so far.

$270 a corner for 16s! Wow thats stoopid expensive.
Id investigate a set of yoko s drives, i got those for $225ish a corner & that was for 215/35/17s.
I really really rated them, excellent tyre for the 5000 odd kms i put on them.

Where did you get them from? I've been quoted $275 for 215/50/17 C-Drives!

Similar question. My 02 STI is due tyres. I've been quoted $249 for Adrenalin RE001s from Bridgestone for 225/45/17s less a further $5/tyre RAC discount.

The car has been lowered and I too was wondering if 235/45/17s go on the STI rims with correct fitting as they seem a bit more common and hence the price might be lower.

A tyre speed calculator shows that at 100kmh you will be doing 101.4kmh with the wider tyre, so I'm assuming you wouldn't notice any detrimental affect on performance/acceleration, and obviously only have a minimal speed variation to consider.

Any guidance would be appreciated and if you know of a better price on the Adrenalins.
Thanks.

The RE001 Adrenalins are now discontinued, and are on runout specials from Bridgestone wholesale, so they should be able to do better then $249...
