Is there such a thing with Brembo's? Mine are a nice colour of dark shaded gold after a week.
mine are like that after 1 week of only driving to work lol

dust means they're working... no dust means they aren't doing a good enough job...

if you don't want brake dust , don't buy a performance car :) LOL!

I've been running DBA4000 front and rear on Brembo's for ages and they are great! Would love to have 5000 but couldn't justify double the price for ali hats etc at the time.

Am now running some Jap pads called ACRE Super Fighter on the rear and EGIL or similar name fronts (bought from Tenegah on recommendation from a guy i race with) both are awesome and have used them on street and track and have instant bite up from cold!! Plus zero fade when pushed hard at the track!!

I've given up on Ferodo over the years due to their massive expense for what is effectively a pretty noisy and easy to cook set of pads. If you use Ferodo 2500's that is, but if you go up to the 3000's they chew your rotors super quick and also your wallet. All up for both front and rear pads for me cost me sub $400... Ferodo's are in that vacinity for fronts only!

Won't work as the hand brake is a mechanical drum (Brembo models).

There are exceptions to the rule. QFM HPX (550 degrees, Bendix Ultimate equivalent, or 100 degrees better than Acre Super Fighters) are near on dust free:

Even the A1RM (Ferodo DS2500) is fairly good on the dust but I wouldn't call it dust fee like the HPX:

A1RM's are currently on a manufacturing back order with QFM, but the HPX are on the shelf in both front and rear, $110 per axle set.

The difference is whereas with most manufactures, they got stuck figuring out what to do after asbestos was banned, QFM since 1989 have made asbestos free pads, so had the heads up on developing a low dust performance pads without asbestos long before most.

Greg
