Hi I'm a n00b and I can't work this out

On the HKS EVC 6 (and the older ones, so I assume it is the same), there is a A mode and a B mode which you can switch between. You can individually change the boost settings for both, the offset for both etc etc...

For the life of me, I can't find anything that tells me why you have both and what they do.

Now I will assume its so you can have a low boost/high boost scenario, but what I am looking for is confirmation of how to do this. Is it just as simple as switching the boost display from A to B? Is there more trickery involved?

Any help much appreciated!

I have one. A is set to 16psi B is set to 20psi in my setup currently.

You turn the dial to toggle either setting. Hold it flat to reset the peak value.

I have full english instructions if you want to have a gander.

Thanks jme,

Got the english instructions, but it just doesn't go into the 'obvious' bits like that.

Just trying to sort out why its not holding boost correctly.

Out of curiosity, what's your offset set at?

NP,

I'll have to look into it and see what values are set, but I am correlating the boost with throttle position and road speed to get it to load up in 1 - 3 and taper it in 4 - 6th. Aiming to get that sorted in time for the tune later in the month.
