Default engine light

hi all
my engine light come on when i start it most of the time(when its cold) it's a my 99 stays on for about 2 -5 min then turns off (even when im driving) has this happen to anyone or its a normal for thing of wrx.

can anybody help thanks

take it to a workshop, they can look at wot code the computer is displaying and tell you wot is wrong

Possibly AFM, are you running an aftermarket filter setup with an AFM???

No im not running a aftermarket filter (pod) setup just a k&n panel filter.

That could still blow your afm if its overoiled. But best bet is like carly said, go and get the annalyser plugged in and see what codes come up.
