Default Blow off valve is too loud

I have searched but haven't found anything addressing my specific issue. I got a yellow sticker a few weeks back because I had a little too much oil in my car which made smoke absolutely piss out of my exhaust.... Anyway, the cops got me around the corner from my place and gave me the sticker.

I took my car to the examination centre in osbourne park and the guy there was pretty fair. He said that my blow off valve was a little too loud and that it would be preferrable if i found a way to sort that out. The problem is that I don't know too much about them and I have a Blitz valve on my car as thats what was on it when I bought it.

Can anyone suggest a way of making it quieter just to get it over the pits? Someone suggested trying to find something to go over it like a filter or something but I figured I would post here first

Correct. El standardo for the win. Replace gasket at same time. 5 min job.

Quoted for truth... If in doubt CJ, post a photo so we can see.

Brent.

***EDIT*** Just saw your above post. Put up a request in the 'Wanted' section. Someone will have one in a box somewhere... Just grab a new gasket as well, and you'll be apples.

do you still have the bov return pipe that goes to the turbo inlet? (people usually put a stopper in there when an atmo bov is installed)

what model wrx do you have?

I believe it has a stopper there. Its a 1995 WRX Rallye. Can't get photos until tonight though if you still need them
