hi guyes my 01 bug eye keeps surging on mid to hi rpm has anyone had silimar problem?? cheched all boost, vaccuum lines and all okai fuel filter and air cleaner have been changed. ive notice there are some tiny holes in the intake pipe to the turbo where the hose clamp clamps it to the turbo could this be the problem?

all mods are 3"TBE catless up pipe and gfb bov.

mate I just had to put a new engine in my car because of this, that surging is most likely detonation occurring, did the big ends and other damage to mine DTRALLY can probably fill you in on the full story.

don't thrash it and get a new intake pipe stat dude.

the car is getting more air than it's measuring.

thanks for the heads up would that intake pipe cause the car to run lean?

I had surging issues on my gc8 even after new engine was in, was just the O2 sensor on the fritz.
