Mines doing the same thing, difference is nothings been changed on my car... stopped for like 100ks after a wheel allignment, but the squeak is back..

go through this thread and tick everything off, could be glazed rotors as well
but considering it disappeared after a wheel alignment i'm going to guess it's a suspension component.

take it in to wilkinsons, they had a look and told me what was wrong free of charge

karina2009 04-10-2010 06:19 PM

thanks :D
it shouldn't be warped, it's brand new :<

afaik they can't machine slotted rotors, and it's weird that it made it worse for you.

also bump for rossco
Who said you cant machine slotted rotors, my mate works at Brakes west and he machines slotted rottors all the time.

you can, it's just most people can't be bothered and get new ones

redlib 04-10-2010 06:36 PM

fuk that, why by brand new ones when it cost about 40 buks to get them skim. provided there still within legal limit.

Jordiee 04-10-2010 07:00 PM

For those curious about machining rotors...

Even DBA say you can machine any of their rotors within specification.

you can usually tell if they're glazed by looking at the rotors, you don't really need to take the wheel off
