For a reliable 400hp you should sleeve, close deck, and (plate hone*) your block. MMS should know that.

* could be called something else?

Torque plate hone, thats the one

If MMS is building your engine, I'd be asking them.

It's not like you'll drive the engine around getting a workshop to do each part.
