They do get the crank, thats related to the bigend probs they were having.

Joe, I've got a 255 long engine here, I'm going to pull a head off and have a look, i'm not so sure they are semi-closed.

am i able to run a sti intercooler if i change the intake manifold? and by changing just the intake manifold, is that all i have to change?

Need the change the intake manifold and the turbo to run a STI intercooler

Confirmation, I pulled the head off one of the 255's we have lying around, they are semi-closed deck, which is coooool.

It's not going to matter as you're putting pistons in it.. other than that, a stock 255 and 257 are the same
