$100.00! We charge $79.95 for a 4 wheel alignment, rotate and balance, at a dealership. We're cheaper then someone else! doesn't happen often!

Yes that is a good price , but I would have paid $150 to get it done right , as I paid $50 already with nothing done . Is it the Subaru dealership ? Is it near Joondalup?

I know this thread is ageing, however $120.00 for an alignment????
Wilkinsons charge a lot less to wheel align our rally cars to custom specs! On a side note on wheel alignments. I have used a few different places over the years, mostly for rally car alignments. Met some real good guys who knew their stuff, not many. Most have had some clue, however anything outside of the specs on the screen and they look nervous. In many cases I have had to assist the aligner under the car to get the specs right. Some didn't want to touch camber bolts even though its a basic function of wheel alignment. One place managed to take a steering wheel off to centre it (after a rack replacement) and put the lock nut on backwards, neatly splitting the steering wheel boss down the centre the day before a rally. Another place managed to strip one of the rear arm toe bolts so badly we had to cut it off with an angle grinder and replace it, the day before Rally Oz started. These days its not worth the pain of watching someone to make sure they do the job properly. We just take our cars to a trusted aligner who can do the job right the first time. Granted everyday road use is very different to competition however it makes me wonder how many people are wearing out tyres & suspension from poor alingments....

The amount of times i took my car to BJ for a wheel alignment and at the end they say this is as good as it gets and it still wasnt close to equal left to right. My problem was that I believed them.
On my WRX had a pull to the left and they couldnt fix it. Took it ti WW and no problems. They did it perfectly. Because of that its WW or Wilkinsons for any car, not just performance cars Adi Sent from my GT-I9100 using Tapatalk |
