Just adding to discussion...

I have picked up myself a Aussie Version 5 STi ecu. Which two wires and where do I swap them on my MY99..? ECU side or Engine..?

Also with the VF34 Ball bearing turbo. When does it start to spool up. 2500rpm/3000rpm/3500rpm..? I currently have a 3 inch exhaust turbo back.

Cheers

No need to put italics like you're being sarcastic.

I would have thought you would need a tune if your running a vf34 on a gc8? not just swapping computer over from gc8 sti.

I put vf34 with p20 housing in my old gc8 and I had autronics on that one. My new gc8 has td04 and haven't bothered changing turbo or lifting boost as I don't want the cost of a new computer.

V6 STi has a VF29. Very similar to the VF35 which is from a 02 STi.
The ECU handles it fine, no retune has been needed.
