I've had my KW Variant 3 coilovers on my STI for about 3 months now. I've got it set to about half way and find the ride more comfortable than the standard STI suspension. I haven't tracked it so can't comment on that, but from what I've driven around it handles a whole lot better than what it did with the standard suspension. All I can say it was well worth the money.

Thanks Guys, what I hoped to hear

Looks like they are the go, now just got to source the best price.

Looking at taking it to Wheel World for installation, as I have heard many good things, and John was informative.

Look to our American friends for purchase.

Installation - any trusted suspension place

ie your WW, WA Sus, Wilkos etc.

So you plan to purchase elsewhere but then go and ask Wheels World to instal...what's wrong with actually asking Wheels World to supply and fit...so what if you pay a few bucks more, at least you're supporting a local business.

You can buy KW V3 for a GC8 from Wheels World for $2999....so why would you even contemplate getting them from over east for the same price? And OK, maybe you can get them from the US a bit cheaper, but then you pay shipping, import duty...etc, etc...then if anything happens what about warranty...will you ask Wheels World to warranty them?

LOL Steve. Why pay near on $1000 extra just to support local buisness. Worlds changed mate.

Ask Goc where he got his race seat and harnesses from. Ank anyone where they will buy stuff from compared to local shops. I wouldnt pay near on double just to feel like im supporting local.

So the price on KW V3's for a GC8 landed here in Perth (including shipping and import duty) ex US is $1999.
And warranty?
