I have KW V3 from wheels world about a year ago. They are as awesome as everyone says. I'm pretty sure mine were $3k installed. This was just after they had a massive price drop.

As for harshness, yes they are a little bit stiff on the bigger bumps though mine are set for street racer spec. Compared to standard STi suspension, it's perhaps a little bit worse but not by much. I only really notice it on the bigger bumps. I found it rounded off the smaller bumps quite well and felt nicer than standard. If you were to tweak them for their softest setting I reckon the potential is there for better than stock comfort.
