the 37 is your best bet for minimal lag although all those turbos can get you there without too much , however on your car(i assume) you would need to change the headers, up/down pipe and sump if your going with a twinscroll turbo which will cost about 1400-2000 using new parts.

Personally id just stick with a 34 and keep it simple but if your after a low lag setup ive got a good cond vf37 for sale ill let you have for cheap

you can push a vf22 to 300hp with the right supporting mods! vf37 will barley make 300hp

Yeah i'm expecting to buy the rest, just starting from point 1 really. May just go 34 and not have to make too many changes to start off with.

I have just read the whole thread but still can't see much of a difference between 34 & 35.. anyone able to state the unobvious for me

34 spools a little slower but has better mid-top range.

Go with the 34!

Ive read you have a TBE so add a 34/fuelpump and verso and you should be close to your 300hp for 3k. If you dont mind spending a little more some injectors and a sti top mount would be worth the extra dosh IMO

someone will correct me if wrong but the VF35 is has a smaller compressor wheel (smaller turbo) and has the smaller P15 exhaust housing whereas the VF34 is a larger turbo/larger compressor and has the P18 or can be changed to the P20 exhaust housing which is bigger again.
