GD Gearbox code? - Perth-WRX.com

We have bought a box to replace the one in our rally GC8. The new box is apparently out of a GD WRX, but we would like to confirm this and find out the ratios. The code on the box is: 9D TY754VB5AA but I can't find it in any online tables, including the one in this thread: http://www.perth-wrx.com/vb/mechanic...ecs-codes.html

I have seen it referred to in a few results of a google search, but nothing on the ratios. We are guessing it is not a close ratio box, and has 4.4 final drive. Can anyone confirm?

Don't put the 9D in google
Just the TY.... Bit

That box is a GDA 4.44 box
The ratio is not the same as the RA if you mean by close ratio

Cool, so our ratios should be the same as the Jdm my03 wrx TY754VB4AA in the table of codes?
