But more likely an effort and knowledge issue by the looks of it. No toe adjustment done to the rear, no camber adjustment done at the front... Half assed effort...
But Gav, your guys are on the big bucks, probably got a Phd or at least a degree in wheel aligning from Bovine University. You wouldn't let a car out the door with those specs. Time to get on here and blow your trumpet and give these guys another option for top quality aligning and tyre service!

That's the difference between a decent shop doing a proper wheel alignment/full 'set up' and a quick toe adjustment that 99% of the population couldn't care less about.

There's many tyre and suspension shops in Perth that can be trusted to do a proper job. Use some of the recommendations on here to find one that's close to you.
Doug, can you recommend some places? Wheels world, wilkinson, others?

I'm in the market for a decent alignment and am happy to pay for a quality outcome, I'm going to get new tires at the same time.

No worries guys, yes this is the first time I have had an alignment done.

At the end of the day I got new tyres along with an alignment, I expected the car to drive straight. I think that is a reasonable expectation.

I took it back once to see if they could fix it, they didn't. I took it back again, they did fix it after I suggested that the camber might be the reason for the pull. They did not believe that that was the case but adjusted it anyway, the problem is now gone.

The difficulty is that on a WRX the wheel really needs to come off to adjust the camber properly. I do the cambers first on a hoist with a simple camber guage before it even goes on the aligner. It takes longer but it's the best way I've found.

Ratpack (Gavin) has posted above has a couple of tyre shops in the Northern Suburbs and I'm sure he will look after us.

Wilko's has always had a good rep amongst car enthusiasts as well.

Hey there
Sometimes it can be whats called radial pull, if there non-directional you can easily swap left to right or abit longer to do all 4 front to rear. Most Wheel aligner are too fat n lazy to enter your details let alone do the w/alignment properly (most do a toe and go but also figures can be fudged with paper behind the w/align heads). The wheel alignment angle that mainly makes it pull is called castor and it usually takes an accident or gutter hit. Try to put your car on level ground stick 2 fingers behind and in front of both front wheels (It's a quick castor check) If it turns out castor out e-bay have adjustable arms that let you adjust.
Also massive camber difference between wheels can make it pull, but most wrexies have camber pins
