Lipping is bending the inside edging of the guard. Rolling is when you push the guards out further. I was correct by dentcraft when I took my friends car to get it done.

i use 215/35ZR18 on a 7 1/2" wide rims on a Liberty with super lows... WRXs should be capable of 8" and 225s

GC8's are apparently harder to get the wider rubber under the guards than the later models. I'll probably just go with 215/35's

That is the only option, i did this with my old Works wheels, get as close to correct offset is the only way. Roll the guards, run a little neg camber and it'll be the best your going to get. alternatively have custom offsets made to suit like 'RW and run big wheels/rubber combo - but thats not exactly cost 'effective'.

I am using the same 225/35R18 Nankangs on 8" wide CSA rims and I had to roll the arches because it scraped when cornering B.T.W I paid $250 a tyre from Ian Diffens Joondalup. They must have seen me coming!! Last edited by EVOCLUB 4; 15-06-2006 at 02:23 PM. |
