Cusco now make some touring struts, Koni make some as well (these are inserts for the front however). Coilovers are more plentiful, there are just as many cheap brands/models as there is expensive ones. Easiest way forward would be to stick with the OEM struts and just throw some springs on that will drop the height a bit, make it a bit firmer and give you a slight increase in the range of camber adjustments.

Sounds like a good plan if there aren't too many decent parts available as yet. I'll put some top springs on it and maybe get some struts later down the line when a good set are released. Thanks |

Water heating off the engine bay / exhaust due to rain? The smell makes it easier to diagnose also.

Yeah I thought that to which is why I didn't worry too much about it last night but was totally dry on the roads this morning and it was coming out the bonnet scoop when I pulled up at work. Was only serviced 3 months ago but I'm taking it to STechnic today to book it in for a proper service with the subaru gods. I'm no mechanic as you can probably tell so I wouldn't know what a bad or good smell was if I smelt it haha. |

Maybe Gold series too, but even STD ENR is made for order.

I'm not asking for a picture that demonstrates similarities, I'm asking for absolute proof or at least a written statement that proves Company A uses Company B to manufacture a product.

As far as I was aware, MCA were manufactured, or at least assembled over East.

If u cannot be convinced by side by side picture comparison at this stage, I have to admit they r not made by STD. I wont be able to give u written proof, as im not a share holder of STD.

I'm just concerned that statements are being made without any irrefutable evidence being provided to back up the claim. I'm going to leave it here for the time being, sorry for being off topic in your thread Dan.
