re drain hose... get a longer hose and clamp it first at the bottom before you put the turbo on.

Don't worry about the top spring clamp, you dont need it...just make sure the bottom one is on.

as long as the hose isn't old and loose on it, it should be fine. I just left the bottom clamp on the hose but further up so it was easier to push the hose on. Pushed the hose in with it on the turbo and then from underneath put the clamp on over were it should be.

How about gaskets is the old one usable or they need to be changed or depending on the condition ???

speaking of gaskets, I got a new uppipe gasket but need a new dump pipe gasket. went to subaru and they didnt have a clue what I was on about.

I have heard some people have been lucky with recycling their old gaskets
I went through the pain of trying to and repeating the process with new ones
Not worth the hassle for saving $15 - do it right the first time

I want a VF34!!

Seriously though .. How much better is it than the TD04.

On my Verso tuned car, i get full boost just under 3000RPM .. How bad is the 34 to spool .. I don't want a lag monster.
