I remember Autosalon mag did a test on a gt fozzy with one of these kits. Found them to be nothing special. Will try to find issue in my stack of mags and scan

Well the article i read, which I can't find now, mentioned it lowered intake temps by 6C. So surely lower intake temps benefits no matter what?
If they are useless, whats the difference in spraying water on the cooler?

you have a front mount, not a top mount - its getting cooler air all the time. I know the evo's have front mount spray - but id really like love to see how much difference it realy would make.
The nitrous systems are the same thing -they freeze the whole intercooler. They say they make more power becoz the intake is actually sucking in some nitrous as it is being sprayed onto the cooler - when the blocked the air flow off to the filter (boxed it up) it make negligable power gains. So id say the same things for the CO2 systems. I cant imagine spraying CO2 on ur front mount would be healthy when your intake sucks up the gas! |
