Its about time I put some new tires on my car and was wondering whats a decent tire for the standard 16's on a MY00 WRX?, I want somthing that handles good.

i had the new (well as new then) Maxxis Tyres i thort they were a really top tyre i think they were $160 each

Best street tyre = Goodyear GS-D3's

Probably get them $230~ each, have to check that one.

If you dont want to compromise and pay a little more these are your tyre.

Grip like rails, queit as, last long time, look good & unique.

Stay away from Regal tyres, in the dry there average at best. But in the wet there slippery as all hell!

Try Federal 595 RS....cheap and handle well (cos they're almost an R Spec)

Federal 595rs are a great tyre, as are the ss595 for normal street use.
