If we had kicked straight we would have been 10 goals up at Half Time and would have smashed them. Also missing a number of key players (Henderson, Kruzer, Waite, Jamieson and Bower) so our structure was shit.

I must agree we dodged a bullet but not overally concerned about the result last night, a win is a win, and we will only improve as we get key players back on the park

Saints are shit, I hate watching their games. Geelong still looks dangerous. Hopefully Scarlett is gone for a week over that elbow and Selwood takes a week after that hit. 8 day break for the cats, 6 days for us after the longest trip in the game... We'll still beat them.

Dockers going to have another good year, especially with the players coming off injury in the upcoming weeks. Some rusty players but still came away with the points and thats all that matters.

Melbourne looked good against the swans, think they could have a decent year.

Eagles lucky to get away with the win, some young guys showed some, Lynch provided the usual laughs and was sad to see Lecras go down like that.

Yeha, Ellard is another one we were missing, but I believe his spot is up for grabs now with Curnow. Mclean....well...if he ever gets his body right and actually palys some games for us it will be a godsend. Same as Austin...perfect KPP but just cna't get his body right.

I predict that James "I am baby Jesus" Hird will bump his head while walking thru a doorway and fail into a coma. He will remain in said coma until the day of the GF when he leads the Dons onto the field. While running on to the field he will stumble and fall just like his team on that faithful day in last Saturday in September !

Remember you Hird it from me first.

Hey all... watched the WCE game yesterday, and coming from somebody who doesn't really know the sport I felt the following:

They want to do the basics right apparently (this is what they said at the season opening conference to the members)... yet they would play high risk footy to get the ball upfield..

I witnessed aimless kicks, and players not taking time to make decisions before acting.. Easy turnovers ensued and players weren't marking up on the field.. There was times where Melbourne had three unmarked players in the middle of the field and they would simply move it up the field with little to no resistance.

From what I saw I'm expecting a similar result to last year unless they start playing with some better tactics... Would like to hear from somebody who knows about the game?

Just 'cause your season left the field on a stretcher stapled to Le Cras' groin

Yes but only if James "I am baby Jesus" Hird bumps his massive head and fails into a coma...then your real head coach (Bumber Thompson) will step in and lead your boys to the GF..... but lose.

good shit dribbling is nothing to sneeze at ! LOL

WCE played North Melbourne

but, as a weagle supporter your going to get that, or with any young inexperienced side skills errors and decision making are not all that flash, if the game plan is any good, everything will come to fruition given time
