Same thing happend to me.... I got a fine for undue and excessive noise $150 and 3 points.

Fine took 3 weeks to arrive

The question is can she do you for anything when off duty !?

...if you get done as par of the hoon laws for speeding, wreckless or what every they just take you details and then you get a summonds in the mail, thats how it works, you don`t get a fine or any paper handed to you then and there.

Best advice is, don`t admit to anything ! If you were to say "oh sorry, I didn`t mean to spin the wheels back there etc etc" you`ve just admitted to an offence ! If you admitted nothing they couldn`t do anything unless they had witnesses or a radar gun reading or the like....

Minimum offence for being convicted as a hoon is automatic 3 month suspension.

I could live with that. Wold still think it was a bit stiff but hey....crap happens. If they want to have a crack for reckless they can go forth and multiply.

I too would be interested in giddy's response. It happened in applecross but the lovely officer works north of the river.

Yeah this was about 5-8 yrs ago when they werent so tough on stuff.

Gave it a bit of stick in northbridge near the park and off duty cop ran out infront of the car and flashed badge.

Thought i was going to get away with itbut fine did arrive
