Default So it begins.. My 1991 rodeo

Well those who know me. Know that I have been looking for a truck for a while.

I finally found something that suited what I was looking for.

Its a 1991 rodeo with a 1996 Front End. She needs abit of work but thats what I was looking for and is to be expected for a 16 year old commercial.

Currently its lowered with 2.5 inch blocks and a reset and the front torsions wound down. It came with a set of spindles to suit however they are not fitted yet..

I picked her up for 3500.. Yesterday

I plan to shave her, lower her some more, satin black respray etc etc

Some pics before she was lowered..

Got into her abit today..

First thing I popped down to DPI and transfered her into my name and put my private plates on her.. So if you see the bunky deo with SUSPECT on the plates please be sure to wave!

Then I went and got a welder and the other associated crap to go with it.

Then it was over to JB Hi Fi to get a decent headunit.. I picked up a Pioneer DEHP4950 with an Ipod interface. So popped home and installed that.. Looks nice and works which is important. Also fitted a glass mounted antenna so when I shave the in guard one I can still listen to the radio

Popped down to the local automotive paint supplier.. Picked myself up some primer and filler, Also got myself a gravity fed gun and thinners etc..

Then it was home again.. Fired up the mig and the flapper wheel. Managed to get some shaving done 26 holes down and about 35 to go!

Without further ado PICS!

I will try and keep this thread going as abit of a buildup if people are interested..

I have been interested in this type of build for a while, I'll be keeping an eye on this thread too.
