Are we talking the adsl speed or the wireless range here?

Anyway, try this :

im asking for range not speed just about any speed the wireless contects at is still faster than the internet speed so internet is still going to be high speed

but range is what im after with out having to use boosters

but either way booster might be the way to go

Why not make yourself a parabolic signal direction sail for your current router? It is free! Particularly useful if your router is on the perimeter of your house and you are trying to use it from the other side. Why waste signal sending it to your neighbour?

See here for instructions:
http://www.freeantennas.com/projects/template/

I have a mate who tried this and the results were suprisingly good! (He ended up being able to send the signal through 1m thick concrete floor and to the other side of the house.)

EDIT: Speeling
