have you exhausted the existing brake option? The 4 pots on there now, respond well to some decent pads, rotors and braided lines or is this just a cosmetic thing? Unless you're looking to run 5+ hot laps at wanners the 4 potters will be up to the task. The AP street setup is probably a better 'slimmer' option that the brembo's as well. I had them in the wagon on the fronts only and were MORE than adequate for the speeds i was reaching, consistantly.

Cosmetic wank - you will just blow a wad of cash with Brembos on a lightweight 1270kg 99/00 WRX, unless your doing as JME said above at Wanners.

4 pots with slotted DBA4000's/5000's and Ferodo DS2500's pads more than adequate. Castrol Super Response DOT 4.1 (Silver Bottle) at $8 bucks is good too.

I agree with the boys... Unless you are going to be doing a lot of trackwork, the 4pot's will serve you well with a good pad/disc/fluid/lines setup... spend the kesh on optimising what you have now, and getting some suspension fitted!

Agreed, improve the existing setup and spend well on suspension. buying 'cheap' coilovers will more than likely put your handling and braking capacity backwards. An unbalanced car will take longer to stop and dynamic feel is shot out the window.
