Do you think Fernando will reign him in? Id like to see FA do the triple. Let Lewis win next year. After all the rumour is FA will leave before his contract expires.
At around 19:30 CET on Thursday, news finally emerged from Paris and the bare bones of the story are that, for bringing the sport into disrepute, McLaren has been kicked out of this year’s constructors’ championship and has to pay a fine of one hundred million Euros while the drivers, Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso can carry on racing this year’s Drivers’ Championship.

The news is stunning but its real implications are more long term. Next year, McLaren will have to prove nothing on its cars is the Intellectual Property of the Ferrari team and having been disqualified from this year’s Constructors’ classification it means they will be parked down the far end of the paddock.

That means the tiniest most cramped garages and the least room to put their giant Brand Centre, as they call their team hospitality unit. For a top team to try and impress its sponsors and guests is not such an easy task and even in racing terms it carries some disadvantages: cramped working space means more risk of mistakes, while it is always a handicap during race pits stops to be in the pit garage at the furthest end of pit lane.

This is definitely not the last you will hear about the matter, but the strangest thing of all is that what started this terrible chain of events was the action of a disgruntled Ferrari worker wanting to hurt his own team!

Found this on one of the F1 sites. Interesting thoughts about being stuck down the crap end of pit lane. Thats got to hurt.

Its not 100 million Euros, FIA operates in USD.

The pit lane penalty will suck for sure... assuming this isnt appealed and quashed.
Sir Frank?
Nope Adam Parr, maybe he is the Managing Director, I'm not sure. Did some work for them a while back.
