Beautiful, love to hear one of those motors.

When I was a kid living in Cottesloe an old guy that lived up near Eric St used to drive a black (of course) 20's Bugatti GP car (coach built here by Porters and fully licensed) down the hill to the garage near my house. Had an exhaust note that could shift internal organs.

that is quite neat, pity it was never flown, would love to see it in the air.

It flew at an altitude of 6 feet for a distance of 4.5 feet. Then we discovered rain makes it catch fire

Man I think I creamed my shorts.

Bet it would have been a bit of a handful to fly though.

I wonder what the vents on the leading edge of the tailplane were for???

The intakes in the leading edges of the tail surfaces are for the engines' cooling air.

Sorry couldn't take my eyes of the pictures.

To much time racing gliders in the past. Really appreciate graceful looking aircraft.

The majority are functional but ugly.
