Yeah sad times. So many famous Perth/WA people kicking the bucket lately. Thank fuck for mediocrity

In an interview he did in the US he said he was completely mentally and physically exhausted from doing his latest movie, 'Batman: Dark Night' that he was actually unable to sleep. Guess he was that strung out he thought taking a few more would help, then a few more then a few more...........Hell of a thing to happen. Not like he was trying to get high or anything. Poor bastard just wanted some R&R

On a side night his claim to fame for me was knocking out a guy named Stefen De Wijk with one punch at Guildford Grammer. Fat shit should've kept his mouth closed. (I knew Stefen afterwards and it came up in discussion one day) Haha I'll always remember him for that, even after being in Brokeback mountain + =

Fark, how sad. It's a shame that he leaves behind a daughter as well.

Many condolences to his family and close friends. Two hands has been a fav movie of mine for years and big fan of heaths work. From everything i have seen he was able to remain himself and not turn into a hollywood snob, very down to earth... RIP buddy

On the radio they are giving out a phone number that people can call if they need counselling/help getting through this – family/close friends I can understand, but some of the adult people who call in weeping saying they watched all his movies and now need counselling need more serious help. If someone you’ve only ever seen on a movie screen can affect you this much you must lead a pretty boring life. Ok I’m done.
IMHO, all the ppl posting on here their 'condolences to the family' is cheesy and try-hard
