I can't get Unforgiven III out of my head...Judas Kiss is another good one.

I'm not an audio expert but i also noticed the sound being very flat. I thought it was the whole mp3 thing, all mp3s sound shit. Wait till saturday for the CD and see what happens

New toy has arrived, 1/4 mile in 11.2 sec and only 114hp!

There is no real technical reason for the mp3 version to be broken like it is no matter who ripped it, someone would have had to have deliberately applied a compressor to the audio files. Id hope as much as anyone here they have preserved the quality in the CD version, I'm just a pessimist :P

mp3's can actually sound generally very good over all and i have a 320kb version which is certainly 'good enough' to recover the entire dynamic range of human hearing at least.

and the dodgy version is decent enough at medium level

downloaded it the other day and the password didn't work so I just pre-ordered a copy this arvo.
From what I have heard about it I don't see myself being disappointed.

Yeah problem is i have a fully digital setup... HOWEVER i might get the record and record it at 196k/hz 24 bit :P
