What firmware are we up to now?

Has it changed anything a great deal ?

I am pretty sure the latest version is still version 2.2 and yes its been jail broken.

What i find in Version 2.2 is the battery lifespan is slightly longer and street view is enable on google map

Does anyone else think 2.2 has made it slightly slower? especially when opening sms?

i only notice its a bit slower when i load up Cydia.

I find sms slow to open on 2.1 when there is heaps in there.

one site i saw said that 2.2 isnt ready for 3g and wont unlock phone but you guys must have done it. is there a new link for it ?

2.3 beta is out and about, so I'd expect a release soonish.

2.2 on 3G and 2G has been out for quite some time and can be jailbroken with any of the pwn tools very quickly and easily.

Yellowsn0w is out which removes the carrier lock on 3G iPhones. Due to the uncertainty of being able to unlock the carrier if you upgraded to 2.2, the dev team said not to upgrade if you were considering this. If you are not going to be changing carriers, don't worry about it.

carrier lock im not overlly worried about as vodafone is the best anyway

On the topic of iphones, left mine in my pocket yesterday when i went for a swim. Not happy. How do i delete it from my itunes as you can only have 4 ipod/iphones sync to each itunes account.
