Ive had some 'interesting times' against it thru Vic Park... I know id have it...

And I also like the other red Ferrari I see regularly in the city, (dont know my models with Ferrari's), but it has the rego [CASINO].

Always hell babies it everywhere.

That one's an F430, I saw it coming out of Winthrop one sunday arvo. He turned towards Freo, and booted it down Leach Highway, as he was passing JB Emo-Fi.

Pretty immature, but it sounded fantastic.

Perhaps he wasn't full throttle? What were you driving? They aren't exactly slow cars, especially once moving - and you cannot change gears quicker than him either.

The one with QLD plates in that pic belongs to a guy with a fairly large collection of cars in Perth, and all have QLD plates due to stamp duty reasons. Not driven across.

I was in my Lada, got a jump of about 30m at the roundabout & he was still the same distance behind me when I hit the brakes well before the bottom of the ramp, he had more than enough room to get closer & I'm sure as fuck if I was in my 599 & had some pissant 2L nanna car booted it in front of me I would at least catch up to show I could go faster, who knows (nor cares) maybe he didn't know where the race button was but he was doing at least 170 so hardly sitting on his hands.

But as you know all things Ferrari you're probably right.......maybe it was a dream??

Seems the most likely explanation.

It just makes me laugh the people that always manage to keep up with these cars, I guess justifying yourself against a $700K car must feel good.

What a load of wank... doesn't take $700k to do an 11.2s quarter mile.

Who knows how true Tom's story is but I'm sure most people here would feel bloody good kicking the ass out of a $700k car. It makes for a good laugh and sticks it up to those who think they have paid for something that is faster than anything else on the road.

In this situation, if the 599GTB driver was caught unaware, anything is possible! You snooze, you lose!
