Mine would not work at first. It kept saying I need the update so I clicked the update button and it kept saying it will not connect or some boosheet. I just un-installed it and downloaded the latest version and it worked.

did you download etax 2009 or 2008? i tried lodging a friend's tax return for last FY (2008), but it wouldn't lodge either. I printed it out, and sent in instead.

Yeah, just got a call from IT. Said either to try it on someone else's computer and if that don't work, print it out and send to them. Oh well, i guess its problem solved.. for now.
