So how can people actually get the point across? Google is carrying on about China, I dont think many realise that australia is in the minority by trying to impliment this filter. I totally do not understand how this got as far as it did.

It's total censorship here in China and they seem to find ways of blocking the unblockers pretty quick too, it's an absolute piss off not having access to facebook and youtube and some of the free sites that keep popping up look pretty dodgy at the least.
Also they are now going to start censoring mobile phone messages in Shanghai to begin with so if they find something dodgy like porn or dirty words they will shut your mobile down........apparently it's all for the kiddys so they don't see bad things.
