To all those saying Spain or England, history would suggest that if it's not being played in Europe then a non European team will win it. Not sure why that is but it's a pretty strong trend.

there has been some big upsets, one with the french team being knocked out at the group stages, and also with teams not scoring, is it only me or is this world cup pretty dull

I must say I've found it a little bit of a slow cup this time around. I know players are whinging about the new ball and all, but really now, it's not as though it's changed shape or anything.
