It was a rather expensive weekend for a certain individual. First of all on Wednesday this happened when he tried to land his helicopter....
Then he did this to his awesome Torana on Saturday afternoon on his way up the hill. I think he has done very little damage mechanically but the body is properly stuffed.

^ Greg loves a good crash, he has a pretty good record of properly breaking things!
He was the driver a few years ago that broke Mark Perry's neck in the GT3

So it seems he can't drive or fly.

Nah he is fast but has big moments,
His nav is one of the best in the country and he keeps going with him..... can't be that bad?

I expect to crash more as I get older as the gap widens between ambition and ability

Ok. So I drew up a bit of a to do list of things that need to be done to the car. Theoretically it just needs a wash and an oil change after High Country but being as OCD as I am I just want to tidy a few things up.....
When I was ordering overnight parts out of Japan I noticed that there is a genuine Ralliart sump guard for circa $500. I spoke with a mate that has one and he said it is a work of art. OK. Lets order one of them... The one thing he failed to tell me is how bloody heavy it is..... That might be fine in a showroom car where you have to add weight to bring it up to a minimum weight but there is absolutely no way that I am fitting it to my car which is way over the minimum weight.... So I got to thinking.... What other options are there... perhaps I could use it as a mould to make a much lighter one out of carbon and Kevlar. It probably wont happen until over Christmas but stay tuned as I will make a mould and see if I can make a super lightweight undertray. Brendon
