Default ***New fixed Speed cameras due for Perth***

hey everyone,

thought this maybe very handy for those who like to tap on the boost along the freeway.

Stick to the limit.

http://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/a/-/wa/12362285/first-fixed-speed-camera-unveiled/

quote;

A fixed speed camera has been placed on the Mitchell Freeway in Innaloo with a further five locations to be rolled out early in the New Year, police have revealed.
Insp. Mark Ridley said the fixed camera on the freeway would be tested over the next month before a decision was made on the further locations.
While WA has 28 integrated red light and speed cameras which are fixed at intersections across Perth, the freeway camera is the first fixed device to be placed on the side of the road.
NSW and Victoria both have dozens of fixed speed cameras which have been in operation for several years, mainly on freeways, highways and major roads.
Insp. Ridley said the six fixed camera locations were boxes which would not all always have a camera inside them.
An undisclosed number of cameras would be rotated through the sites, similar to what happens with red light cameras.
The cameras rotated through those boxes will come from WA Police’s fleet of 23 mobile speed cameras.
The locations of the fixed camera boxes will be published on the police website, but Insp. Ridley was confident that drivers would not simply slow down while passing the locations before accelerating away from them.

Default Freeway hidden radars

Yip, they are there alright..I have some pretty good radar defense gear on board and both systems are going nuts around the K/up overpass....they have done a good job of hiding it, see if you can find the little bugger!!!!

Didn't realise it was rear facing... although I'm sure this will be pretty accurate!
