Foglights do NOTHING in rain - they are designed for fog.. hence the name foglights.

Vehicle fog lights

Be considerate of other drivers and only use fog lights in fog or adverse weather. TURN OFF fog lights in fine weather.

There is a $100 fine and 1 demerit point for inappropriate use of fog lights.
Only Time i've used my fog lights is in actual Fog (Maybe once) & Maybe During Very Heavy Rain. Otherwise yes keep them off. They don't do much & sucks if your a driver facing towards them on a weather free dark night .

So are Z4's, we could combine the two for an awesome bonfire

Having said that, you would feel ripped off for paying double of what an mx5 is for a more boring car

What makes me laugh is the STi's never came out with fog lights... I really wished i had them installed when i went through 2min max of heavy rain and the very rare days of driving through fog. Even if i had them i would say id forget to turn them on!

I've lost 2 points in the last 13 years, been driving like a hoon for 3Xyrs and never lost my license, I think you get a 6th sense after a while and know where to floor it and where not to..........Also lots of luck, they ignore old people lol, been let off about 4 times in the Liberty and once in the WRX when I sped past a cop at midnight passing the casino with no plates but a permit, took a while to convince him my mechanic was still working on the car 10 min earlier.

And they are driving lights, fog lights are yellow, only good for lighting up kerbs.

Its not for your safety, what a crock of shit.

person coming the other way blinded by your stupid foglights, swerves, head on, both dead.

there is 100000% no need for foglights with no fog on.

Harrassment claim - do you refer to the police as "dogs" when they pull you over?
