Your going to have a ball! i went to the gold coast last year. The weathers great, the parks are better and the girls are just the best! Although you will struggle to fit everything in. I went for two weeks and still ran out of time! If you like a bit of nature i really reccomend the Fraser Island Tour. Good fun 4wding over the island, and awsome scenery.

I was thinking about hitting NZ to do some skiing, and do like a contikki tour. Or definately like the idea of Europe, but will be pretty expensive. My only thing with doing Europe or US is that you would want to spend a couple of Months to see everything.

Can you do NZ in 2-3 weeks?

My bro has just booked his euro contiki tour... hes going on his own... plan is to do that for 2 weeks or so... go skiing etc... make friends.., so that when he goes to London to stay for a while.. he will have buddies to hang out with... so jealous !!!

ive known quite a few people who have been on them and have never heard a bad comment. Though a girl I was at uni with did 'powerchuck' from halfway up the Eifel tower... not sure thats the kind of representation Oz needs overseas but oh well... hahah

I've been to the usual Bali and that's cool and all.

Sinapore was very cool if you like technology and stuff. Their zoo is awesome too.

Been to the US. Went to Hawaii, Vegas & Los Angeles and can reccomend them all I guess. Vegas is an absolute blast! Make sure you take lots of cash, see a Cirque Du Soleil show, or at least some form of "live" show like Penn & Teller or something. Try do the Grand Canyon too. It's expensive to do a helicopter flight that lands but it's worth it. I have some canyon rock at home :-)

Hit up all the touristy stuff in Hawaii too. Pearl Harbour is actually quite a moving sight to see.

Have to say also, if you go to LA, see some stand up comedy - it's a hoot! Check out Universal Studios too, very cool rides. The mummy was good fun.

Next year, I'm off for a big trip around the globe which will be interesting. Planning to head to, Honolulu > Las Vegas > Los Angeles > Chicago > London > Paris > Amsterdam > Athens > Bangkok. Should be AWESOME!

Europe is definately better than the US. Been to the US East Coast, been to Western Europe, Russia & Scandinavia. Better food, better girls, less hassles at the airport, less yanks.....

Look at how much you want to spend too. The budget can blow out of proportion quite easily once you're there if you are not careful.

europe is the best :P

i went on a month long tour across most of west europe

contiki is even better since you meet so many people and make so many good friends. awesome time ! i've kept almost daily contact with about 8 ppl (mostly from australia and NZ) and i'll have definately have places to stay should i travel to london, USA, canada or NZ. it's just a mad drink, sight seeeing and root fest.

only thing is the euro can get expensive, and a budget trip gets blown out (cost me about 13k all up)

here area few pics
