Hi,
Swapping engines in my Gen1Ser1 legacy wagon to a GTB motor, have just pulled the original motor out. It has 181,882kms. Don't know if it's had a timing belt change before, I've never had the covers off, just driven it about 40,000 kms since I got the car. Has been run stock with original VF8 turbo, WAIC etc since I've had it. Always changed oil regularly etc. It developed a pretty nasty case of lifter tick and I was thinking of upgrading engines anyway so decided to just swap it out. Has oil leaking out of the timing covers, assume it needs cam seals or something like that. Would really suit someone wanting to build a tough 2litre with WRX heads. I've taken all the fruit off it already as I need it to convert my new TT GTB engine to single turbo. What you see is what you get. Located in Jandakot. $200. Has no shaft play I can detect, although I just noticed that the housing seems pretty r00ted when it bolts to the up pipe. $20. What you see is what you get.
